One option might be to look on ebay - using their "save this search" feature - 
maybe have it look for ads under Apple and motherboard, and apple and IMac, etc 
- it will search daily and e-mail you with anything found with the words that 
you have designated. I would use several searches with different words, such as 
apple and mideplane - or apple and the model # you are looking for, etc -

Also, i would put the word out by searching the many mac sites - I would tend 
to believe that someone out there has devised a better motherboard, and for 
someone upgrading to a new system the older stuff may not be worth much to them.
