Yes. It will run OS X, although it is subject to the 8G boot partition  
limit, meaning that OSX has to be installed on a drive partition less  
than 8GB.

If it's stock, you will need to upgrade the ram and hard drive to run  
OS X.

The RJ45 jack is a normal ethernet  port.
