hi all, i'm new to imacs, and i have a 17" G4 (lampshade?) imac with a dead screen. it seems to still boot up, but the screen is black. i need to connect it to an external monitor to see what's going on, but the only video port on the base is of a type i've never encountered before. did these things originally come with an adapter to connect to a VGA monitor or a DVI monitor? where do i get one and what's it called? anyone have one that they don't need/want? thanks in advance to all who reply.
