Kyle, et All Listas

Hi! and many Thanx for the kind link which led to the downloads, which
have now been gratefully grabbed. (-note for claritysake; as the eMac's
AHT CD was on-hand, it's wasn't one of those which were needed. :)

But, I'm yet hopeful for some help on reviving these FW ports saga..

I'll add in a few (duh factor'd) forgotten details; the eMac does go
into FWTD mode (shown onscreen) easily, but won't mount nor be seeable
by DU on the Mac it's connected to, and also; no FWTD Mac connected to
the eMac is choosable to boot from by the eMac using Option-key held @
boot, either, and System Profiler's Firewire catagory just shows nada,
too.

Are both of these FW ports really dead?? Is there no-help/way/trick of
instigating a kickstart or reset for them??, as the eMacs surely won't
bootoff of a USB Drive as the older fruity iMacs would&could.

Any/All suggestions/advise will be mucho welcomed & very appreciated.

Respectful of GURUs
