Don't bother.  Just add an external firewire drive to it.  That way 
your system, apps, and basic files are on the internal drive, and all 
your other stuff is on the other.  You could also use a partition on 
the external for backups.

OWC is a great store.  Very reliable.  For the memory, see also ramseeker.com

Might be cheaper/easier to just use a USB Wi-Fi adapter.  They run 
around $10 to $15.  Of course, keep in mind that wi-fi is slower than 
a cat5 cable...
