I wouls like to ask questions about the I/O ports at the back of the iMac.
The one with the headphone symbol is for headphone, right? Is this a mono or stereo? Now, what is the next one? This port has the symbol of two triangle points together and a circle in the centre. Is this an analogue mic port? Can I go to the electric shop and buy any karaoke mic and plug it in? The next ones are USB and firewire. Are those USB 2.0 and firewire 800? The next one is the ethernet port for wired network or DSL modem. The last one looks like a video port but not a VGA, so I need a special cable? Come back to the mic question, I would like to use the mic for MacSpeech Dictate (http://www.macspeech.com/), do you think I need a special mic? Thank you in advance!
