I keep os 9 on my imac mostly in order to play diablo. There is a default setting that every day Sherlock stops everything and tries to index the hd. When this happens my game usually crashes, and uaually at a very crucial time. At one time i knew how to disable the auto-indexing function on Sherlock, but have forgotten. Have tried everything but the correct answer. If anyone could be of help in this matter, it would be most appreciated. Many thanks!
