IF you want to be able to BOOT Mac OS 9 (on Macs that support it), THEN you MUST have already put the OS 9 driver on the disk BEFORE installing Mac OS X or Mac OS 9. If you're just talking about Classic Mode -- the OS 9 emulator running under OS X -- then it can be added to your system ANY TIME. As for obtaining OS 9/Classic... Forget the restore disks. Just download it directly from Apple. <http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=765305&tstart=517> <http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120243#English> - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs.
