If I remember correctly, there are performance issues with the PowerPC
architecture and Flash. RAM doesn't come into it - it's a codec issue.
Even relatively humble Wintel setups whizz along by comparison. My
humble EeePC 701 for example. True, it's SSD makes a real difference,
but even a relatively old machine running XP will beat the socks off
the fastest PPC machine.

So, it is the machines.
