Rob,

Your eMac can run Mac OS 9. If it's one with USB 1.1 ports, it can
boot directly into Mac OS 9.2.2. If it's one with USB 2.0 ports, you
can run Mac OS 9.2.2 in Classic Mode under Mac OS X versions through
10.4.11. There should be no need to emulate an Intel Mac unless you
have a game that won't run in Classic Mode.

If you're using Leopard, you need an emulator, and Sheepshaver <http://
sheepshaver.cebix.net/> is a universal binary, so it should run on
your eMac.
