If I download 3.x from Apple's > web site, will that restore it? TIA. The 4.0 beta comes with an uninstaller that replaces 3.x. It said so in the readme file. However, 'dissapointed' with the performance, I'd have to ask on what...4.0 in my experience smokes 3.0 performance-wise. The UI changed fairly dramatically, but after a few days of confusion, I was just as proficient as before. That said, she should REALLY upgrade her iMac to 10.5, or prepare to upgrade to 10.6 soon. 10.5 is a major improvement in performance on Intel systems, and 10.6 is supposed to be better. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs.
