Another option is to purchase a Linksys WRT54GL Wireless router,  
install DD-WRT software image (or some other aftermarket WRT  
firmware), connect the WRT54GL wireless router (setup in "client- 
bridge" mode) to the iMac with Ethernet let the WRT54GL be your  
Ethernet to Wireless converter.

If you use the WRT as an Ethernet bridge, you'll be served an IP  
address from whatever wireless AP the WRT connects to.  Otherwise, you  
can also use the WRT as a router and a nifty NAT firewall, to boot!
