Part 2 of run-on: What files can you not find? Moot actually - as long as you trash Safari.app and put in place the modified info.plist, the installer should be happy. Part 3 of run-on: Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever edit / modify ANY file in-place, in a system area. ALWAYS copy the file to your desktop and modify the COPY. Here's a copy already edited. Download it. Double-click to unzip it. Then drag the info.plist into /System/Library/Frameworks/WebKit.framework/Resources/. Don't worry about its permissions - the installer runs as root and it's going to replace that whole framework anyway. <http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/610326/Info.plist.zip> >I have tried what it says to allow read and write, instead of read >only, and included the user listed with my name, the administrator, >and the other 3 listed on the main part (wheel, etc) - I also tried >restarting, thinking perhaps changes would take upon restart and >enable me to save the changes on the plist. No luck. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever modify file permissions in a system area of a running system unless you know EXACTLY the implications thereof. To modify files COPY them to your desktop.
