Hi Bill Check in the discussion groups on the Apple website. I bought an iMac on behalf of a friend in early 2007 and didn't get the AppleCare plan. It developed a similar problem, and it turned out it was a known problem. I got the screen replaced for free, although most of the people on the forum had logic/video board failures. Worth a try. You might have to insist on speaking to a product specialist. The tip off for me was that there were 23 pages of discussion about the one problem. -- Terry McCune -- You received this message because you are a member of the iMac Group, a group for those using Apple iMacs and eMacs.
