Here is the breakdown for using XPostFacto:
Use it to install Panther and up on Macs without USB ports and
Use it to install Tiger on a Mac without FireWire (one of the slot- 
loaders without firewire is an exception though)

I pulled the drive from my 333NHz tray loader and put it in my  
PowerMAc to install Tiger and then put it back in the iMac
