It not only finds the spyware, it nukes it, and then if you get regular updates it proactively blocks new threats. Best free antispyware program out there. I consider AVG garbage and ClamAV as well. In a recent test they each caught about 90% of viruses and Norton 9 caught 99%. Go read up. Yep, I have no clue what I am talking about. Neither do all the tech journals and magazines or my colleagues who admin thousands of PC's. I personally use the $30 Norton AV 9 and the FREE spybot search and destroy and have never had any problems on my home machine.
