ROFL.  Yea, seen that.  I donno if it's a matter of tuning the ip 
stack or if Windoze is really just that craptastic.  I can throw data 
to/from my 300-MHz Smurf hard enough that I can swamp our internet 
connection (15/5 Mb).  But my housemate's x-GHz PC (Win XP) seems to 
just drink in sips off our LAN, doing maybe 1/3 the throughput.
