I was going to make an instructable for it, but I kinda butchered my remote a few weeks ago to make it "better" and I accidentally broke it, so i'm back to hunting down a few more keyboards at garage sales. The best part is putting the device in something unexpected, like a media remote+ Speaker + Audrino + 4 digit LCD Display = Multimedia iClock (Powered off your PC, gets time from the PC, plays the music from your pc, when it wakes up (iRooster), controls the music\alarm, and shows the time) (It's my current project, I just don't have the clock half controlled by PC yet (but the buttons operate the PC now, instead of just the clock (simple flick of a switch returns the button the the mercy of the clock itself) Around town\school, i'm known for turning unsuspecting devices into other objects that aren't normal, like the Flatbed laptop, VCRMac, and a Toaster Burner (i'm pretty proud of that one too) which all look really cool in a college dorm room =P > > -- > Bruce Johnson > University of Arizona > College of Pharmacy > Information Technology Group > > Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs > > > -- > You received this message because you are a member of the iMac Group, a group > for those using Apple iMacs and eMacs. > The list FAQ is at http://lowendmac.com/imac/list.shtml and our netiquette > guide is at http://www.lowendmac.com/lists/netiquette.shtml > To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > To leave this group, send email to [email protected] > For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/imaclist >
