Hi, I'm trying to find out some information about my iMac. I have a Bondi Blue G3 Rev A. However, its been upgraded to a 333Mhz Card. I'm trying to find out how much memory this is capable of running. According to websites for the original Rev A version Apple Supports 128MB, however people have been able to run it with 384 MB. The Rev B Apple Supports 128MB, however people have been able to run 512MB. The 333 Mhz Apple again Support 128MB, however people have gotten it to run 512MB.
So my question is the Rev A people have gotten a maximum of 384MB but all other Tray Loading people can get 512MB. Is this a processor restriction or a design restriction on the logic board of the Rev A?
