Not only would it be nice to do, it's also impossible in every sense. Wireless A operates at the 5.7ghz band, not the 2.4ghz band. modifying a wireless b card, running on the 2.4ghz band to hit 5.7ghz would be an impressive feat to say the least. You might want to look for a small (possibly circular) network hub to stick under your wireless router, and connect that way. it's going to be your only option (A USB adapter will be just as fast as wireless B, so that really wouldn't make sense either)
