Unless you use a few of these http://www.engadget.com/2009/07/23/cambrionix-49-port-usb-hub-for-professionals-nerds/ I know the G3 iMacs have a bus per port (Wish my PC had that... it'd be a bit easier on the drain when I use some more power-hungry preiphials... or ones that just crash the bus) You also have to take into account that if you use a multimedia keyboard... you're going to loose 4 devices, one for the keyboard, one for the multimedia half, one for a usb composite device... and one for the hub that connects them all internally.
