I should have mentioned in my earlier reply that I've got a mid-2007 aluminum iMac with the 20-inch screen like the one you're bidding on. I've got the 2.4 GHz model with better video memory and bigger hard drive than the base model. It was an AppleCare replacement for a G5 iMac that had major problems. I actually paid additional money to get the faster processor and other upgrades. However, that wasn't enough. As soon as I got it, I regretted not springing for the 24-inch model. Why? The LCD in the 20-inch model has a very narrow field of view, and unless I sat directly in front of it with my eyes looking straight into the center of the screen, the screen would go yellow and be all but unusable. The better screen in the 24-inch model was far superior, and I'm still kicking myself for cheaping out. So, I'm hoping you don't win the eBay auction, 'cause you'll find that 20-inch screen is disappointing. (However, my grandson thinks it's wonderful. :^)) I made up for that mistake by saving up my money for a 24-inch iMac with LED backlighting. I was ready when Apple announced its latest iMacs last October, all of them with LED backlit screens for the first time. Unfortunately, Apple dropped the 24-inch models and I was forced to buy a 27-inch 3.06 GHz model instead. Happy? You bet! It's everything I thought I was getting when I bought my iMac G4 20-inch brand new in May 2005 ... and then some.
