Given that the screen is a piece of glass in these models, and is actually pretty easy to remove (all it takes is some suction cup tools like what glass workers already use) I'd not be surprised to find folks willing to etch or sandblast the glossy screen into matte-ness.

It would likely be expensive and unless you took it to Apple for removal and re-installation, would probably foo your warrantee (and possibly even then, though you could argue that a surface treatment of the screen couldn't possibly affect the interior), but it would work.
