Everyone is giving excellent replies here. I'd like to add my 2 cents too. The mini has been confirmed to perform a bit better via. FW 800 external. And I wouldn't buy a newer Intel Mac without Apple Care because though nice some still die early. The Apple Store recently had some minis on the refurbished Mac section. -Mike
