On my previous Bondi-blue IMac 233, rev B - I thought 8.6 was the best 
operating system, I "upgraded" to 9 a couple of times, and ended up going back 
to 8.6.  I did have a lot of RAM, I think I added 128 to the existing RAM, if  
I remember right.
