I am reposting this because the old post I made got sidetracked and I could not get an answer.
I have an iMac G4 that will not boot past the folder with a question mark. I have tried this using 3 different HDDs and the only one that I can get to boot any farther is a bad HDD (it's also the only HDD that any of my computers will recognize). I have tried booting the computer using Mac OS 9, 10.1, 10.2, and Debian Linux.
