Dear friends,
I hope I can get some help here because otherwise I've finished my
ideas :(

I have my sweet Rev B coming from 1998.
I've found it in the cellar and it was love, again :)

The little beast had a voodoo2 sitting in it and was overclocked @ 300
mhz.

I've tried turning it on and of course it didn't work.
I've removed old ram, bought 512 mb on ebay + a new cd reader and the
little guy is here alive and kicking :D

I also saw that I had a 20 gb disk in it and it was way to small so I
thought about using a 80 gb western digital I've had in the house.
Everything fine, everything sweet.

I've had many problems installing panther so I thought let's start
with simple things:

1) complete disk format
2) 1st partition of 1gb named mac os 9
3) mac os 9 install

Everything goes fine but when I try to reboot I get a "?" and the mac
says I can't find an operating system.

Can anybody help? :(
I've tried this more than once with a lot of attention to all
passages.

The mac is working (with my old hd in everything is normal) and the os
9 install cd is working (if I try to install it in a "spare" partition
on my old hd everything is fine). The "new" 80 gb western digital is
working great (had some windows program to test its surface, smart and
so on.

Thank you so much for your kind attention and forgive me for writing
so much but I was happy and I had to share :)
