Listers- Not sure if this help request qualifies for this list as I am currently using a G3 iBook, although I also own and use lightly an iMac.
My problem is that all of a sudden I can no longer open and go to multiple websites in Netscape and IE. That is, up to now I could have say in Netscape 7 a window for my gmail open, a window for a blog open, a window for say greenbeltalliance.org open, and at the same time in IE 5.1 I could have santaclaracountylib.org open, google.com open, and one or two other sites if I chose. In all cases the web site for each would come in fine. Now, if I try to open more than one or maximum two brwoser windows going to different sites, I get the following response in the browser display: Bad Request (Invalid Hostname) My setup: G3 iBook, 900mhz, 640k ram, running OS 9.2.2 [can switch to OS 10.28 on restart if choose different startup disk] Broswers used: Netscape 7 and IE 5.1 Dialup connection via Apple internal 56k modem I ran Diskwarrior and Plus Optimizer, but it has not cured this problem.
