Hello everyone, I am here to say that my iMac G4 runs cool, even without it's original fan. I went to radio shack this afternoon, and got myself a blue LED fan (although a little smaller than the proper size, i got it to fit...) and it looks amazing. I am updating my site with this new mod pics. Honestly, in my opinion this is what an iMac G4 should look like stock.
go to www.midnightimods.weebly.com When putting in a different fan for your iMac G4, please do be careful as to which one you buy because it could improperly cool your computer and may cause CPU overheating, causing your system to fail with it. I dodged a bullet there, as this fan works normally with this system and it cools it just as well, but it's transparent rather than white, and it has blue LED's. Basically saying, an iMac G4 will run ok on a radio shack blue LED fan. So for those of you wanting to do this kind of a mod, this type of fan is okay. I wouldn't try any other fan simply because it's too risky.
