It's actually pretty smooth on my G3 500Mhz Pismo. Nothing to write home about, but much better than Flash. By the way, a Wallstreet with a G4 500Mhz Sonnet CPU upgrade plays Flash Youtube videos surprisingly well, despite its puny 4Mb VRAM.
