My iMac has an ATI Radeon X1600 with 128Mb of VRAM, with a Mini-DVI port. I have both a VGA adapter and a DVI adapter (which is the one I'm using), so I was wondering if there would be any advantage to get an HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable.
On a side note, digital cables are digital cables. Don't let anyone sell you a $50 HDMI cable claiming better picture or sound. The only thing it will improve is the sales person's bank balance.
