I would replace any unpowered hubs with powered hubs. That should leave
you with only the 2 USB ports on the keyboard as unpowered ports. I
would use these for low-power items such as mice, flash drives, etc. I
have my Kensington Trackball and my Griffin PowerMate connected to the
ones on my keyboard.
