Aslo generally better than using the VGA on TV's too. On mine (a ProScan) the VGA input is limited to 1024x768, but I can drive a HDMI input at the full screen resolution of 1920 x 1080. My old Powerbook drives it interlaced only, but a newer or better video card system would be able to drive it properly.
