depending on the model, you would need either an Airport or Airport Extreme card. Installing it would not be very hard, just a matter of loosening the 4 screws on the bottom plate and removing it, the airport slot is just underneath that panel. I've tried third-party USB wireless connectors with mixed results. You can look on Ebay or the swaplist for this google group for the airport card you need.
