I put my memory card in my card reader attached

I noticed a folder that wasn't there before

a file called 'jwgkvsq.vmx'. I was able to
delete the file but can't get the folders to
delete. It keeps asking for my password. What's
up with this and how to I get my memory card
clean?
The files systems on camera cards get funked up
now and then. Put the card in your camera and
re-format it. DO NOT reformat the card on your
Mac.
What Dan said!
My husband, the photographer in the family,
*always* deals with changes to his camera memory
card (moving or deleting files, or the very
occasional reformat) in the camera; the camera
knows the ins and outs of the card format, etc.,
best.
