Your wife should be able to download the software directly to her
machine as an ISO image from MS and then burn a disk or install the
software directly to her machine and you can send her the license code
to complete the install.
No need to ship a disk.

I just purchased a 3-license version of MS Office:Mac 2011, I am in TN, my wife
currently in TX and daughter in CA. Short of sending each one the disc to
install the software, how can I get them the software to install. (I will not
be installing on my machine) very happy with OpenOffice. I was attempting to
upload it to my PogoPlug (which I am liking a lot) but I am unable to do so (A
MS disc issue, since I have uploaded bigger files no problems).
Again this is a legal copy I own (rent) from MS for install on 3 computers. A
remote install, if so steps to accomplish that? Just suck it up again, and
purchase a back-up disc from MS for $14.95. Make my own back-ups.
The reason for purchasing MS Office when there are awesome free replacements?
Great question, the answer. Wife's happy, Life's happy.
Appreciate any useful or entertaining feedback, suggestions.
