The G3 iMacs only will boot from original disks (not burnt ones). Yours has
anywhere between 64 and 256 Mb of ram unless it has been upgraded which
means that if you have 64 Mb you can boot Mac OS 9.2.2 at the most and if
you have 128 Mb or more you can boot OS X (depends on ram as to what
version).

I would check on your local craigslist, freecycle, etc to see if there are
any disks available.
