This is mostly a semantic change, they use the word 'event' rather than
'roll'. When you import old iPhoto libraries, it turns each roll into an
'event'. It will split new imports (based on date, I think), but if you
import all at once you can select 'last import', create an album for it and
   call it a 'roll'

Yes, you are right, Bruce. I was too fast judging.

Now, I have my iMac G5 with a black screen (more on this later).

I removed the HDrive and copied back what I need from it, and put it on my
new iMac intel3G with 10.6.6

I have all the iPhoto Library from the G5 (Tiger) on the Intel HDrive.

So, is there a way to import this library in iPhoto on the intel so that it
will mix with the iPhoto Lib from the G5 and I will be left with one Lib in
iPhoto on the intel (G5 + intel Lib= one Lib) ?

One better? solution : Can I open at my choice, easily & repetitively, one
Lib or the other in iPhoto?

And what is/are the file(s) to open to do so? Is iPhoto.db the one or is it
Library.iPhoto ?

   - As for iSnip there's this :
   -
   - <http://createlivelove.com/applications/mysnippets/mysnippets.html>
   - <http://www.snippetsapp.com/>
   -
   - They're aimed at programmers, but this will do just fine for what iSnip
   seems to do.

I finally found a perfect replacement for iSnip on Snow Leopard : ClipMenu
