Al, Personally, I gave up on Time Machine a long time ago. It was nothing but trouble. Perhaps most of its old kinks have been already ironed by now, but I see from your posts that it's still buggy --three OS's later.
I depend on good ole SuperDuper for my backups. Both my working Macs get backed up once a day, in the wee hours when everybody but the cats is asleep. They wake up, get backed up in perhaps five minutes, and go back to sleep without so much as a hiccup. And the backups are bootable, which is a plus for me. Don't get me wrong, I understand the advantages of Time Machine, but are they worth the aggravation? Best of luck, Felix On Sep 14, 8:41 pm, Al Poulin <[email protected]> wrote: > I am looking for a Time Machine scheduler which can run a backup upon > Shut Down and upon putting the Mac to sleep from the Apple menu.
