After experiencing numerous overheating problems with my 24" iMac, I
went ahead and disassembled it and blew all the dust out. While I was
in there, I upgraded to a 2TB hard drive. I put it back together, and
everything seems to be working properly. Well, except for one minor
problem. There appears to be a very narrow strip of cloth blocking the
RAM slot screw. I don't know where it came from or how to get rid of
it/move it out of the way. I really don't want to fully disassemble
the thing just to get get the RAM cover back on. Can I get rid of it
with a few strategic cuts of a razor blade? Has anyone else who has
disassembled an iMac seen this before?

Thanks...
