When I insert the disk into my imac, it sounds like it is going to work, then after about a minute, it is ejected. No icon, nothing. I just ordered a new one. Wish me luck.
I did add an external hard drive to backup all of my files before starting this process. While backing up my files, I somehow "lost" my I-tunes folder with 3455 songs on it! After a complete personal meltdown, I started searching the hard drive and found the folder in my apps file, thank God. I do appreciate all of you who have offered your kind assistance.
