Yeah, I've been backing up stuff in the past few weeks, just in case. Wow, turning off javascript does make a difference in page loading. Though it makes a lot of stuff not show up at all. I couldn't find a Develop menu in Safari Preferences, but I had options to enable or disable under the Security menu.
