Greetings, I've just joined this group to ask a very quick question, namely: is it possible to transplant RAM from a Power Mac G4 (pre-QuickSilver) into an iMac DV?
Aggregating the specifications given by various sources gives the specifications of the RAM as: - iMac: PC-100 3.3V 64bit 100MHz 168-pin SDRAM - Power Mac G4: PC-100 3.3V *unbuffered 8-byte non-parity* 64bit 100MHz 168-pin SDRAM The difference in the specifications is highlighted.
