Yes go to http://www.ifixit.com/device/imac_g5. You can download the disassembly instructions and go from there. Its all very straight forward and you should have no problems with the disassembly. Once you have the computer open look for capacitors that are domed or even blown out at the top. If you see any this is the bad cap problem.
