This "horse" has been beaten to death... and there's still people loving
partitions, and other who do not. :-)

Let's just say I like having my stuff well organized, thus having them in
separate partitions helps that:
- I know where particular stuff resides
- It makes it for faster searches
- It makes it for faster backups
- When directory corruption happens, it's just on one partition, and it's
easier to repair
- Having a partition with another install of OSX, allows me to boot from
there and makes for easier HD maintenance / troubleshoot

I'm perfectly aware this won't work for everybody; it just suits my way of
thinking.
