i had a G3 400mhz "DVi" iMac and i always had to do the OpenFirmware Boot trick to make anything above OS9 boot, the OF trick i belive went like " boot cd:,\\:tbxi "its been too long since i had it ( i traded up for a Snowwhite 600mhz G3.)
