Ours is an Epson Workforce 840. We can get refilled cartridges pretty easily but even with genuine Epson cartridges the photo print quality is poor. And it keeps clogging, I got a cleaner kit and it seems to work pretty well (takes overnight a couple times to unclog) but then a couple months later it is clogged again. I would like to believe it is cheap ink but it happens with Epson ink too.
