This is an iMac list; like Adrian said, you’ll be far better off getting onto an xubuntu forum https://xubuntu.org/help/ for this sort of information, since it’s really not at all Mac related. (other than you’re running Linux on a Mac…)
I deal with linux servers all day long; and every bit of it takes place in the command-line via Terminal; I haven’t gotten onto a Linux GUI in years, and they’re all different. Come here and ask Mac related questions you’ll get a ton of answers, Linux, hardly any.
