It isn't just you. I just got a recent batch of email from Image-SIG, that were quite backlogged.
We should probably look at this and see if we can improve it. Some of the last batch had been sitting around for over a month and that is not very nice for people just starting out with images and Python. Is this bottleneck with new members or simply approving e-mails?
