Thank you for the bug report, and very sorry for the long delay in reply. I believe these problems are resolved on the master branch, as well as in the last few releases (latest is 2.0.0-beta-7.5). At least, I am able to successfully open TIFF files on my system. Could you please let us know if this problem persists for you?
